MEDIA DIRECTOR, PERFORMANCE

Who We Are

Madwell is a Brooklyn-based creative collective built to disrupt the traditional agency model. Why? Because we believe successful marketing can be anything. And we love that. We were founded in 2010 in Bushwick, Brooklyn and still call that colorful, creative neighborhood home. (We also call Denver home—that’s where you’ll find our sister office.) We believe that wild creativity can live happily alongside a laser-focus on results, and we consistently work with a wide range of clients including cosmetics, telcom, spirits, and oh so much more.

What You’ll Do

At Madwell, we believe that the medium is the message. That where a message shows up in the world is just as important as what that message says. And because of that belief, our performance media team is responsible for fine tuning the right message in the right place at the right time with the right person. As a Performance Media Director, you’ll be leading and guiding the agency’s performance media capabilities - from planning to execution to optimizing. You’ll create outsized results for clients - no matter their KPI.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the setup, execution, and optimization of campaigns in owned channel platforms and/or  DSPs, while tapping into data performance to improve campaign effectiveness.

  • Push for innovative and never-been-done-before performance media strategies and ways of working to deliver on the dynamic needs of our clients.
  • Develop measurement and optimization strategies for tactical media plans. Work alongside the team to ensure reporting delivers on meaningful  insights and actionable recommendations for clients.
  • Manage budget allocations and ROAS analysis for all demand  generation and performance initiatives.
  • Commanding a room through persuasive, compelling presentations. Be unflappable when things get tricky. A keen ability to present complex ideas that inspires junior team members and c-suite executives.
  • Guide and mentor the mediums team across various digital channel experts (i.e. social, programmatic, search, etc.)
  • Prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of our work.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
