We were founded in 2010 in Bushwick, Brooklyn and still call that colorful, creative neighborhood home. (We also call Denver home—that’s where you’ll find our sister office.) What You’ll Do

As an Account Director at Madwell, you’ll be responsible for leading an account(s) and responsible for building the client’s business and brand portfolio. On your accounts, you’ll be the expert in their business, industry, and category. You’ll work closely with client contacts and in-house creative and project management teams to assess, communicate, and address all client needs. You’ll be directing a team and ensuring the day-to-day work is completed, while also providing thought leadership to your client.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Building strong, collaborative and trusted relationships with creative and strategic partners within Madwell, to transform knowledge of client’s business objectives, internal and competitive opportunities and customer insights into actionable marketing strategies and tactic
  • Monitoring and evaluating the competitive landscape to provide senior level strategic insights
  • Providing direction and supervises the team on implementation, including development of strategy and creative ideas
  • Engaging with senior level clients and continue an ongoing relationship development
  • Foreseeing business opportunities and formulating action plans to drive and extend the client business
  • A brief master: seamlessly building briefs, checking in to ensure that we have the brief right, and aligning client deliverables to KPIs throughout the creative and production process
  • Driving the development of SOWs for new and existing clients, then overseeing their execution to ensure it accomplishes stated client goals
  • Performing informal 1:1 client check-ins to ensure satisfaction of services provided
  • Managing, coaching and mentoring the growth of the junior account team, by providing constant feedback, training and growth opportunities.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000

* This is a hybrid role based out of our NYC office, you must be located within commuting distance of Brooklyn, NY  to be considered for this role. This role requires the candidate to be in the Brooklyn office 3 times a week*
