Finance Coordinator

More than that you connect the day-to-day functions with the overall picture. You’re the Finance Coordinator we’ve been looking for, come on over and say hi.

What You’ll Do

As a Finance Coordinator at Madwell, you’ll cover the accounting entry functions for our creative agency and production company divisions. You’ll work closely with our Client Finance Manager as well our team of creative producers to ensure our billing runs smoothly.

Specifically, you’ll be:

  • Billing clients for our video and events production company, and processing vendor invoices
  • Assisting with monthly reconciliations for both bank reconciliations and credit cards
  • Preparing company payroll
  • Ensuring that time tracking throughout Madwell is accurate for the purposes of paying hourly and freelance staff, and staff utilization reporting
  • Assisting with the implementation of new time, client billing and client profitability systems as they roll out

Our Must-Haves

  • Detail-oriented by nature, with strong execution skills
  • Competency with general ledger work, ideally QuickBooks
  • Competency with excel and/or google sheets
  • A friendly, smart, objectively awesome human with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach
  • A team player ready to work across the agency

Where You’ve Been

  • 1-3 years experience in accounting, ideally in a creative agency or professional services setting
  • Experience with production accounting a plus
