Virtual Strategy Internship 2020



Madwell is hosting its first ever virtual strategy internship this 2020 summer in an 8-week program. This internship can be taken with Madwell, and it’s available free and open source at to do at home, or with agencies. Our internship begins June 8th through July 31st. Finalists will be selected by June 1st.

Who You Are
You’re a critical thinker gifted with a healthy dose of curiosity, intellect and vision. You’re looking to flex your strategic muscles with this internship because you love solving complex problems and take a ‘can-do’ approach in your work that makes way for innovation. 


What You’ll Do

As a strategy intern you’ll take part in a unique strategy syllabus taught by your very own Yoda / Monica Aldama / Mentor. They will use each week to teach strategy FUNdamentals and assign relevant Madwell client work with 1:1 guidance with the mentor. Interns will e-connect with many Madwellians from cross-disciplinary backgrounds, e-attend meetings and lead a unique project.


Specifically, you’ll be:

  • Performing desktop research into our brands and their competitors
  • Assisting with recruiting and screening customers for field research
  • Contributing to focus group discussion guides, quantitative surveys, or workshop planning
  • Processing research results, including pulling quotes or working with survey data
  • Participating in internal discussions with members of other teams
  • Assisting on business development projects or pitches for new clients


Our Must-Haves

  • Curiosity about people and a willingness to research and understand them
  • Basic understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Top-notch written and verbal communication skills
  • Eagerness to work in a fast paced collaborative environment
  • Ability to work in remotely 35 hours/week
  • Eligibility to work in the US
