You’re a level-headed leader who knows that social can unlock business results, define communications plans and bring value far beyond any individual ‘post.’

 

What You’ll Do

As a Sr Social Strategist at Madwell, you’re the digital team lead for a large and fast-paced account. You’ll author social strategy, lead campaign development, and work alongside our comms and brand planners to architect world-class strategy that’s social by design. Equal parts charismatic and objective-oriented, and you understand the larger media mix and how to lead in an IAT setting.

 

Specifically, You’ll Be:

  • Owning and authoring social strategy and campaign playbooks, with rationale, data, and sources to support your perspective
  • Developing campaigns briefs to inform creative where owned social, paid social, and digital brand connection touchpoints will achieve stated KPIs
  • Proactively coming to the table with ideas and inspiration. You’re a thought leader and a direct point of contact to our clients
  • Working in partnership with our internal media teams as well as our IAT partners to provide holistic marketing recommendations
  • Monitoring in market creative, continuously optimizing in accordance with platform standards, and in-market performance and creative rotations
  • Forging partnerships with Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok, etc
  • Creating and leading compelling presentations to senior clients
  • Mentoring junior staff members

Our Must-Haves

  • Advanced marketing knowledge of all major platform capabilities on all major social, video and streaming platforms
  • Ability to work with social listening tools (Pulsar, Brandwatch), crunch numbers and apply data insights to ongoing workstreams
  • The ability to navigate both the creative and analytical sides of social media. You can tell stories with data (versus simply just reporting on the numbers) and know how to identify clear implications and recommendations
  • Professional maturity and a hunger to make inroads with clients and external partners 
  • Excellent presentation skills

Where You’ve Been

  • 6 years of experience in social media at a creative agency or in-house
  • 2 years in paid social or communications strategy is a plus
  • Proven ability to own social strategy from end to end for major brands
