Social Media Producer

You’re that rare transcendent being that lives at the corner of driven and personable. You’re the Social Media Producer we’re looking for, and we want you on our team.

What You’ll Do

As a Social Media Producer at Madwell, you’ll be working alongside our accounts, strategy, creative, and media teams to shepherd a steady flow of projects from conception to delivery. You’ll work closely with our Senior Producers and our VP of Production to help evolve processes on your account, always ensuring that Big Ideas don’t dwarf business goals—or get sidelined by the bottom line.

Specifically, you’ll be:

  • Working with clients and internal teams to define and achieve project goals
  • Facilitating project communication so client and team are informed and ready and able to execute
  • Establishing agendas and running effective, informative project meetings
  • Overseeing the efficient and quality production of deliverables, including social content, campaign presentations, community management plans, content performance reports, etc.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date internal and client-facing status sheets
  • Developing timelines, content calendars, managing deliverables, and ensuring milestones are met
  • Planning and securing appropriate social, creative, and media resources throughout the project lifecycle
  • Raising changes to scope, budget, and timing and communicating the impact of those changes
  • Ensuring that our work meets Madwell’s high quality standards
  • Maintaining healthy client relationships and managing day-to-day communications with client social leads and media partners
  • Helping various teams scope new work
  • Producing photo/video shoots on a quarterly basis
  • Working with vendors for estimates through fabrication needs

Our Must-Haves

  • An unshakeable desire to keep things organized against all odds
  • A proven understanding of social media best practices and a strategic approach to a wide range of new and emerging platforms
  • Flexibility, ability to pivot, and provide additional project support as needed
  • The ability to clearly articulate your ideas, both verbally and in written form
  • Familiarity with project management software such as smartsheets, teamwork, basecamp, trello, and sprinklr
  • The ability to navigate both the creative and analytical sides of social media.
  • Proven understanding Interest in emerging and new media
  • Able to track and leverage KPIs, while understanding the rapidly changing social media landscape

Where You’ve Been

  • 3 - 5 years as a project manager, product manager, or producer, in a creative agency setting
  • Previous experience working on social workstreams
