Senior Copywriter

Oh, There You Are

Your emails are considered collectors’ items. You triple-check your tweets. You read books, blogs, cereal boxes—not everything, exactly, but anything. You’re a force of nature behind a pen and you love to work hard at what you love. You’re the copywriter we’ve been looking for, and we want you on our team.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be working with the creative team to write copy for campaigns, scripts, story boards, websites, walls, windows, and whatever else we want to stick words on. As part of the agency creative brain trust, it’ll also be your job to help conceptualize big ideas (and cute little ones) and to see those ideas through to the finish line. We take a holistic view of the creative process, which means you’ll be working directly with the design, strategy, production and dev teams to do it.

Specifically, you’ll be:

  • Writing. Well. A lot. Fast.
  • Producing long- and short-form copy across accounts and media
  • Conceiving concepts consistent with creative briefs and demands
  • Developing and articulating voice and tone guidelines
  • Taglines, taglines, taglines, taglines, taglines. Taglines? Taglines.
  • Contributing to pitches, proposals, and statements of work
  • Completing all assigned work on time and regularly providing status updates to managers
  • Acting as a spotter and sounding board for other writers on the team
  • Constantly combing your work (and others’) for logic, grammar, and consistency

  • Resolve and willingness to come at a problem again and again (and again) from different angles
  • Experience in writing and producing video content
  • Thick-skinned and even-keeled under pressure

  • Still in possession of a “Wouldn’t it be cool if…” outlook on life
  • Equal parts confidence, humility, and desire to learn
  • Love of snacks

Where You’ve Been

  • 3-5 years of professional writing experience; agency experience preferred
