What You’ll Do

As a Media Strategy Supervisor at Madwell, you’ll be tasked with providing insights, thought leadership, and cross-channel media strategies to Madwell clients. You’ll be responsible for owning the development of media audience recommendations as it aligns to the overall strategic vision and plans that deliver on our client’s business goals. You’ll report directly to our Director of Media. This role is based in our Brooklyn, New York office, but will remain remote until December 2021.

 

Specifically you’ll be:

  • Creating and refining media campaign strategy across multiple accounts, ensuring media plan meets and exceed client goals and KPIs 
  • Collaborating with Creative and Strategy to create strategic recommendations that integrate research, design, industry and client knowledge
  • Overseeing consumer audience development with your fellow media and strategy teammates using syndicated research and guiding team on flighting and budgeting scenarios
  • Producing simple, clear, client-facing insights through campaign analysis for review, demonstrating the efficacy of our campaigns strategy
  • Using your high awareness and deep understanding of cultural moments and social trends to inform communication strategy
  • Identify opportunities for client to expand marketing efforts
  • Integrating with the creative team to help bridge gaps between ideas and placements
  • Developing media presentation materials that are clear, compelling and persuasive
  • An expert on the client’s business, actively generating ideas and recommendations for client’s campaigns

Our Must-Haves

  • Previous success in developing media strategy campaigns for brands or products
  • Exceptional critical thinking mindset, balancing the analytical with the creative
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills communicating (written and oral) with clients and co-workers
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Strong experience with media and audience planning tools (Nielsen Ad Intel,Comscore,  MRI/Simmons, Helixa, Google Analytics)

Where You’ve Been

  • 5+ years of media strategy experience
  • Previous experience managing direct reports
  • Experience in traditional marketing and current knowledge of trends and innovations in traditional and digital media
