You’re a guru in performance advertising principles and analytics, absurdly passionate about progressing brand conversations and optimizing in the name of bettering outcomes. You know how to develop effective campaign strategies and lead your teammates day-to-day execution of those strategies perfectly across paid media channels. Hi there, Performance Media Manager, we’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Do

As a Performance Media Manager at Madwell, you’ll report directly to our Director of Media and work alongside a growing Media team to ensure seamless strategy and execution across paid search, social, and programmatic display and video. You’ll be responsible for overseeing PPC campaigns across our key accounts, always with an eye towards improving and growing client success. Additionally, you’ll serve as our thought-leader, offering a POV on industry updates and issues.

Specifically, you’ll be:

  • Working directly with clients to determine search marketing objectives and goals and periodically presenting plans and results
  • Mentoring and supporting performance media planners in the overall development of campaign strategy and proposals through to implementation, ensuring thorough optimization and analysis for effective conversion costs
  • Overseeing team members in keyword management, creative testing, and bidding strategies on PPC and programmatic platforms + search engines to reach client goals
  • Managing performance media forecasting and budgets, working cross-functionally to ensure client deadlines and budgets are achievable and delivered upon
  • Keeping current with industry trends and best practices and making recommendations to the team as you see fit

Our Must-Haves

  • Previous success working directly with clients in the planning, development, and management of search, social, and programmatic media campaigns for brands or products
  • Exceptional critical thinking mindset balancing the analytical with the creative
  • Excellent attention to detail, project management, and a detail-oriented mindset with the ability to take a long-range view
  • Strong interpersonal skills communicating (written and oral) with clients and co-workers; previous team leadership or experience managing direct reports is a plus
  • Advanced understanding of media planning tools (MRI/Simmons, Google Analytics, AdWords, Doubleclick and SEMRush)
  • Experience with bid management tracking solutions and brand safety measures
  • High fluency in Microsoft Excel
