You’re the seasoned Comms Planner we’re looking for, and we’re ready to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

As a Comms Planner at Madwell you’ll ensure creative ideas are implemented, at all times ensuring the integration of creative and media. Reporting to our Director of Media, you’ll be working closely with individual clients, internal teams, and agency partners to provide a clear strategic point of view that aligns to client business goals.

Specifically, you’ll be:

  • Creating digital media campaign strategies (messaging frameworks, tactical briefs and ecosystems) that align with client business goals, inclusive of earned and owned content
  • Making recommendations for digital media budget allocations based on performance goals
  • Communicating with clients about media in a detailed, clear, concise way
  • Consistently coming to the table with your recommendations (and a POV on why you recommend them)
  • Tracking ROI and KPIs for all digital media campaigns and making optimizing recommendations based on analytics
  • Keeping up to date on industry trends in relation to traditional and digital media
  • Acting as a liaison between the media team and agency partners, vendors, and other internal teams
  • Our Must-Haves:
  • Hands-on experience with digital media planning and buying, including programmatic, search, and social
  • Experience making creative recommendations and creating full-funnel campaigns
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills; able to balance the analytical with the creative
  • Excellent organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral); able to engage comfortably with clients and coworkers
  • Strong experience with media planning tools (Nielsen Ad Intel, MRI, Google Analytics, AdWords, Doubleclick)
  • Fluent in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Where You’ve Been:

  • 3+ years experience in traditional marketing in an agency setting with a current knowledge of trends and innovations in traditional and digital media
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or equivalent
