Who You Are

You’re a guru in performance advertising principles with a passion for analytics. You’re absurdly passionate about progressing brand conversations and optimizing all in the name of bettering outcomes (hello there conversions!). Hi there, Performance Media Planner, we want to meet you!

What You’ll Do

As a Performance Media Planner at Madwell, you’ll report directly to our Performance Media Manager and work alongside a growing Media team to deliver strategy and execution across paid search, social, and programmatic display and video. You’ll be responsible for creating, implementing and managing our PPC campaigns across our key accounts, always with an eye towards improving and growing client campaigns.

Specifically, you’ll be:

  • Assisting with the overall development of PPC and programmatic campaign strategy and proposals through to implementation
  • Analyzing and optimizing client campaigns for efficient and effective conversion costs, periodically presenting recommendations and results internally and to clients
  • Creating and executing keyword management, creative testing, and bidding strategies on PPC platforms and search engines to reach client goals
  • Overseeing campaign optimizations, bid and budget management, brand safety, and reporting for programmatic campaigns
  • Coordinating forecasting and budgets with other members of the Media team, working closely both within the Media team and other cross-functional agency teams
  • Keeping current with industry trends and best practices and making recommendations to the team as you see fit

Our Must-Haves

  • Previous success in the planning, development, and management of search, social, and programmatic media campaigns for brands or products
  • Exceptional critical thinking mindset balancing the analytical with the creative
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills communicating (written and oral) with clients and co-workers
  • Strong experience with planning tools (MRI/Simmons, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Campaign Manager, and SEMRush)
  • Growing experience with bid management tracking solutions
  • High fluency in Microsoft Excel
